What’s the difference between cancellation and non-renewal?

Cancellation means you can terminate your contract at any time. However, if you cancel before the renewal date, you will incur a cancellation fee.

Non-renewal, on the other hand, means that your contract will not automatically renew when it expires – and you won’t have to pay a cancellation fee.
